Saw this the other day:

The plates do not seem to be VicRoads issued. In fact, can't even tell what state issued them. Anyone know what this is?? Are they just home-made replacement plates?

It looks like a still from a video that has been cropped. Most like a Dashcam or his bike cam.

It was taken on my iPhone at a servo as I filled up next to it.
What about the plate on this brand new Supreme Caravan I saw going up the east coast NSW yesterday? I wonder if Supreme are going to pay all the fines he collects on his round-Australia trip....

Yeah its that homemade crap. Some cops don't even know that they aren't VicRoads issued, if the car description and VIN check out, most of them don't care.
There are some people in the Vic Market that make these to order for about $50.
There are also others that make good counterfeit VicRoads standard plates - pair these with any matching VS or VT and you are in the money.

Transliteration of the Japanese katakana is "Bikutoria".
Katakana is the Japanese alphabet used for borrowed words, i.e. words not native to the Japanese language. Translation is "Victoria".
What a weird number plate.
