In WA, Qld, and SA private parking companies can still legally get the name and address of vehicle owners from the registration agency in those states. I just had an email from a chap in WA that has received 20 such notices (all for different parking events) from "Parking Enforcement Services" (aka Wilson Parking) over the last 2 years. None of them have progressed past the point of "final demands". You can expect the following in the mail:
- final notice
- final notice

thus notice is now overdue and we require payment within zz days. the amount outstanding is $
I was thinking to myself.... Leaving any kind of specifics on a publicly available and searchable website is probably not something I would do... but that's just me, I guess..

Why not? It's not as though those details help to identify a driver. I mean, I doubt your driver's licence is in the name of 'Mode100'.
