Phone Cradle

Postby M8fone » Fri Aug 28, 2020 10:01 pm

Hi,
Good forum - interested to know if it is an offence to take your phone & put it onto a magnetic mount while driving - for example from a jacket pocket

Note no use of phone at all other than just picking it up and placing it on the mount

Thanks, :)

Thanks - so it is ok to pass it to a passenger but not ok to move it to a magnetic mount or touch it for any other reason ?

If you hold a full licence, you are allowed to pass your phone to a passenger. That is the only time a driver can touch a phone when it is not in a commercially available phone holder.

Correct, if you hold a full licence.
