What are my chances of driving TAXI's again

I have recently lost my licence to drink driving. (First offence)

I expect to get my licence back sometime late next year.

I have a reletively clean driving record. Only one other offence apart from my drink driving offence.

I have had to surrender my Taxi Driver Accrediation.

I plan to go back to driving taxi's (not my main career) when I get my licence back.

What are my chances of getting my Taxi licence back?

You should be OK getting a taxi DC after your drink driving offence. Will depend a bit on the reading and how many priors you have.

The main problem is that if you get an interlock then you are not going to be given a taxi drivers job.

Yeah, I was thinking that. I won't be able to operate a taxi, unless it has an interlock fitted to it.

If/ When I go back to driving taxis, my options are, operating my own taxi and get an interlock fitted to it.

or

Wait until the interlock period is over and then start driving for a normal depot.
